Witcher 1 Saved Game Bank
Has your hard disk crashed? Has your saved game become glitched? Has something else happened that makes you need to download a saved game?
I maintain a TW1 Saved Game Bank here. It has saved games from every chapter, so players should be able to find something that isn't TOO far from where they are.
If the difficulty level of a downloaded saved game is not what the player desires, Flash's Difficulty Potions Mod enables players to change the game's difficulty level. And if players need to reallocate the new game's talents to match their lost or glitched save, the Saved Game Editor can do that. It can also add or remove items from inventory if the lost saved game had something special that the downloaded game lacks.
These games were NOT played with Flash's popular Full Combat Rebalance (FCR) mod, so if you're using FCR, these won't do. I'm soliciting games with FCR from every chapter to add to the Saved Game Bank; send a PM to Corylea or write to MedicalProblemsQuiz@gmail.com if there's a game you'd like to contribute.
If you want to contribute a saved game, please do the following:
1. Save the game at a point where every player will be in the same state, such as at the beginning or end of a chapter.
2. Enclose a README that describes
a. What difficulty level you were playing on
b. What major choices you've made in the game so far
c. Whether or not you were using FCR
d. Your forum name, so people who download your game know who to thank for it
These are saved games for playing TW1. If you want a saved game from the END of TW1 for import into TW2, see Kindo's saved games at The Witcher Nexus.
